It’s great to look back at our original grand-opening party and the pictures of the old warehouse with the barbed-wired fenced in parking lot and realize how far we have come. We are so appreciative of your support over the years and there is little doubt that we are only here today to celebrate due to the many patrons that believe in the Civil Life. Who would have thought, that three guys that never worked in a brewery would open a brewery and stay in business now for 14 years. Dylan, Mike, Patrick, Chris and I have all been here since the beginning. Dylan and Mike have been brewing genuine Civil Life beers for 14 years now! I will readily admit our road ahead is getting harder but the eternal pursuit of the perfect pour in a place that is cared for, maintained and beautiful along with your support has carried us to yet another year. There are so many people that make the Civil Life what it is and I am eternally thankful for all of you that lend your talents to make this place special. We will soldier on, producing some of the finest and most consistent beer around for those that believe in us. For all of this and the hope for many more years to come (fingers crossed) should bring us together to celebrate. Come see us this month and often. In fact, come see us all year long. We love you.
